Cargo Doors

Sprung tension membrane structures offer a wide variety of cargo doors to meet almost any size requirement, including Sliding Doors, Fabric Doors, and our Rolling Service Doors. 

Sliding Doors 

  • Are constructed out of lightweight fabric and aluminum.
  • Door systems operate on pneumatic wheels at ground level and on a track along the top. 
  • Are available in widths of up to 15 feet in the sidewalls of the structures, and unlimited sizes in the flat-end of a structure. 
  • End sliding doors are available in radius ends, which provide even wider cargo door options.

Double-, Triple-, and Quadruple-Panel Fabric Doors

  • Fabric doors have an innovative center-pivot panel design in a variety of sizes.
  • Slides inside the tension fabric structure.
  • They are easy to open, utilizing pneumatic wheels.
  • The design has a heavy-duty neoprene seal.
  • Quick assembly and erection is valuable when creating a fabric building.

Why R-Value Matters to You

The higher the R-Value (the measure of thermal resistance), the greater the insulating power. Thicker insulation, proper fitting, and air-tightness all help improve your building's R-Value – and reduce your climate-control costs.

Conventional Construction: Wall

Conventional construction often compresses wall insulation to as little as 4”, often resulting in R-Values as low as R-12.

Conventional Construction: Roof

Even when not compressing the blanket, conventional construction insulation is typically 6” thick, with an R-Value of R-20.

Sprung Structure: Wall and Roof

Sprung structures employ continuous - ground to peak - insulation up to 9” thick (R-30). With no differentiation between wall and roof, the Sprung structure provides consistent, superior performance throughout the entire building envelope.
