THE ASK

Fort Hood was one of the first bases to receive upgrades as part of the U.S. Army’s “Grow the Army” initiative, which was intended to increase the Army by nearly 75,000 soldiers. Multiple structures were required to help make this happen.

HOW SPRUNG DELIVERED

Sprung quickly supplied 13 high-performance structures — eight to serve as vehicle maintenance facilities, complete with foam suppression systems, and five as insulated storage facilities. Constructed using our durable and cost-effective patented tensioned membrane technology, the buildings played a vital role in daily operations at Food Hood.
