Encana needed a storage solution for 28,000 tonnes of sand at their remote fracing location and looked to Sprung structures and their strategic alliance partner to provide an all in turn key solution.
The 140’ wide x 305’ long Sprung structure is erected on a 8’ high steel retaining wall and includes custom openings complete with protective hoods for load in conveyor systems as well a protective hood system for rolling service door entrances.
Sprung’s exclusive radius end design provides an ideal configuration for sand storage which is much more space efficient.
