80′ wide x 198′ long Sprung structure complete with 8″ Johns Manville formaldehyde free insulation, glazing wall package and custom purple architectural membrane.
Grand Canyon University, located in Phoenix Arizona, embarked upon a staged construction project to add additional dining space. The long range plan calls for a new four story building to be constructed in the heart of the busy university campus. With a number of other projects under demand all needed quickly, it was determined that the best course of action was to construct the first floor of the new dining facility and house it all under a new Signature Series Sprung structure.
The Sprung structure was chosen due in part to creative design, speed of construction and lower overall project costs. Thunder Alley offers three different choices of cuisine, a store for sundries and a complete bowling alley. Sprung supplied a custom purple architectural membrane to match Grand Canyon University colors.
