LA DEMANDE

San Jacinto Valley Academy needed a professional-quality volleyball and basketball facility capable of hosting competitions with other schools and community organizations. The school also needed a flexible indoor space that could support student assemblies and other campus events. To meet these needs, leaders at the academy turned to Sprung for a fast, cost-effective and flexible solution.

COMMENT SPRUNG A TENU PAROLE

Sprung designed and delivered two 80’ × 135’ gymnasium structures to support San Jacinto Valley Academy’s growing athletic and event needs. One gymnasium is used for the academy’s elementary and middle school programs, while the second is dedicated to high school students, allowing multiple activities and practices to take place simultaneously.

Both facilities are fully insulated for year-round comfort and feature daylight panels that optimize natural light throughout the space. Multiple entrances provide easy access and smooth crowd movement during events, and spectator stands allow the school to host competitive games and welcome fans from across the area.

Using Sprung’s glazing support frames allowed their designer flexibility to maximize cost-effective options for glazing and personnel door solutions. SJVA used less expensive tempered glass and window films to meet building code requirements while also providing solar control and thermal protection as well as decorative logos.
