ニューヨークのグラウンド・ゼロでは、災害救援活動を行うために複数の建造物がどうしても必要とされていました。冬が近づくにつれ、これらの建造物が迅速に搬入・設置され、暖房や空調設備が完備され、復旧作業員のための十分なスペース、明るい環境が確保されていることも重要でした。
スプラングは複数の建造物を迅速に提供しています。その中でも最も注目すべきは、31,000平方フィートの高性能膜構造建築物でフードサービス、食事・休憩エリア、洗濯・シャワー施設、ランニングラボ、更衣室やトレーニング施設、捜索エリア、ミーティングエリアなど、複数の用途に使用できる広いスペースが含まれていました。この巨大な建造物は、親しみを込めて「タージ・マハル」と名付けられ、9.11の惨事の対応にあたる緊急対応要員を数ヶ月間にわたって雨風から守りました。
