デンバー国際空港は標高が高いため、メンテナンス・クルーが除雪しなければならない雪が大量に降ることがよくある。新たに購入した除雪車両を収容するため、空港では強風や豪雪にも耐えられる耐久性のあるシェルターが必要でした。
スプラングは6ヶ月の間に、空港の特注除雪車40台を収容するための完全断熱建造物5棟を建設しました。移設可能な建物は、クリアスパンデザインと天窓を備え、特注のオーバーヘッドドアシステムは各車両のリモコンと組み合わせられ、迅速かつ効率的な除雪を実現します。また、空港の傾斜したアスファルトとコンクリート誘導路に対応するため、特注で設計・製造された平らな端部を特徴としている。
