リオ・ティント・グループは、巨大なオユ・トルゴイ銅・金鉱山の新工場のために倉庫構造を必要としていた。鉱山がモンゴルにあるため、この新しい倉庫構造は強風と極端な温度変化に耐える必要があった。プロジェクトの納品スピードと耐候性の両方が決定的に重要でした。
設計の特徴として、全天候型ドアフード・システムとスプラング独自の低温冬用膜を備えた4つの防火ドアが含まれていました。建築部材の到着後すぐに建造物の組み立てが開始できるよう、アースアンカーは事前に納入され、設置されていました。
プロジェクト全体の納期は予定通りだった。工事の多くはモンゴルの冬の間に行われ、気温はマイナス40度に達した。
