People’s Church is a rapidly growing congregation, with a surge in youth attendance over the past several years. To support this momentum, the church needed a dedicated youth facility capable of accommodating a variety of activities and gatherings. After evaluating several building options, church leaders selected a Sprung structure as the preferred solution, in part because of its distinctive tensioned-membrane architecture and its ability to provide a flexible, purpose-built space.
スプラングの納品方法
Sprung designed and delivered a fully insulated 90’ × 195’ structure, now known as the Reach Centre. Featuring a clear-span design that provides plenty of flexible, multi-purpose space, the building accommodates a large gymnasium, fitness centre, giant inflatables, an expansive indoor play structure and a cafe.
The full-sized gymnasium supports basketball, volleyball, badminton, floor hockey and other activities, while the fitness centre includes dedicated cardio and free-weight rooms. A double layer of daylight panels along the peak of the structure introduces abundant natural light, enhancing the interior environment while helping reduce ongoing operating costs.
