トロントの演劇シーンが賑わう中、ある劇団が夏のシェイクスピア劇上演のために客寄せ用の建物をリースする必要があった。公演はオンタリオ湖に面した人気のウォーターフロント公園で行われる。
スプラング社は、特許取得済みのテンションメンブレン技術を使って、頑丈で費用対効果の高い構造を設計しました。このオーダーメイドの建物は、色つきの膜と濃い紫色の内装によって、伝統的なシェイクスピアのムードを醸し出しています。観客がパフォーマンスに見とれていると、ステージ後方のドラマチックなフレーム開口部からオンタリオ湖の絵のような美しい景色が目に飛び込んできます。
