CREWセンターは現在稼働しているが、実際のどの施設をセンターに含めるべきかという議論は、8年以上にわたって行われた。しかし、1962年にオープンした町のコミュニティ・プールが老朽化していたため、建て替えが必要であることは関係者全員の一致した意見であった。彼らは、閉鎖型の水生施設を求めてスプラングに注目した。
スプラングプールは現在、CREWセンターの一部となっています。わずか8週間で完成したこの建物は、ジムやその他のウェルネス施設を備えたより大きな従来型の建物とつながっています。このプール施設には、スターティングブロックを備えた6レーンの競技用プールがあり、レジスタンス・チャンネル、子供用の水深ゼロプールがあります。このプール施設は、あらゆる年齢層の地域住民にスポーツや運動を楽しめる機会を提供しています。
