DIE FRAGE
Dynasafe Demil Systems AB needed an innovative way to enclose highly specialized chemical weapons destruction equipment after it had already been positioned on-site at a location in Champagne, France. The solution required a custom structure that could be crane-lifted over the equipment and installed in-place. Having successfully delivered a similar solution in Asia in 2021, Sprung was selected by Dynasafe for its proven expertise in designing adaptable, purpose-built structures for complex, high-risk environments.
WIE SPRUNG GELIEFERT HAT
Sprung designed and delivered a 50’ wide x 150’ long structure with a 10’ leg extension that gave the necessary clearance over the chemical weapons destruction equipment. Because of its lightweight membrane and structural aluminum framework, the enclosure was easily crane-lifted in two sections, positioned over the equipment and then securely anchored to a concrete slab.
The facility features three rolling service doors, ample interior space, and custom framing to accommodate the complex ducting and piping that is integral to the detonation process.
