Amid Toronto’s bustling theatre scene, a theatre group needed to lease a structure to host guests for its summer Shakespearean play productions. The performances would take place at a popular waterfront park on Lake Ontario.
How Sprung Delivered
Sprung engineered a sturdy, cost-effective structure using our patented tensioned membrane technology. The tailor-made building evoked a traditional Shakespearean mood through its colored membrane and dark purple interior. As spectators gazed upon performances, a dramatic framed opening at the back of the stage showcased a picturesque view of Lake Ontario.
