The Ask

Fort Monroe needed a structural solution to shelter the service personnel responsible for inspecting vehicles entering the base.

How Sprung Delivered

Sprung rapidly delivered a custom, open-ended structure with a durable, rust-free aluminum substructure. Since the site restricted the structure’s width, it was mounted on three-foot-high piers. The membrane was designed to extend below the base level, decreasing the amount of concrete needed and maximizing cost-effectiveness.
