The Ask

In 1999, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center was in need of a new building to host a variety of activities for kids attending its Space Camp. Staff at the center turned to Sprung Structures for a fast, flexible and cost-effective solution.

How Sprung Delivered

Sprung supplied an 88’ x 210’ structure, which was delivered, constructed and fully operational in less than six months from the time of order. Featuring a Dupont Tedlar exterior membrane with a 25-year pro-rata warranty, the spacious, clear-span structure is fully insulated, ensuring optimal heating and cooling efficiency.

Twenty-five years since its construction, this structure is still being utilized for Space Camp activities and is considered a huge success by the Space & Rocket Center.
