THE ASK

Following the devastation caused to Tyndall AFB during Hurricane Michael in October 2018, the base needed to rebuild and repair 75 percent of its buildings. The new structures had to be constructed quickly, meet Florida building codes and be Berry Amendment Compliant.

HOW SPRUNG DELIVERED

Sprung constructed 26 innovative, cost-effective structures built using our patented tensioned membrane technology. The durable structures are designed to withstand 145-mile-per-hour wind speeds and are energy-efficient and flexible. They are used for warehouses, maintenance facilities, offices, fire stations and a K-9 training facility. Most importantly, they were erected rapidly, allowing the base to maintain its vital routine operations.
