The Ask

Harvard Business School’s Kresge Hall, which was built in the 1950s and served primarily as an executive education dining center, was slated to be torn down to make space for a replacement facility. While the campus stood to gain an important new building, a pressing question became what to do in the interim. How could Harvard accommodate the students taking part in the executive education program? The school needed a solution that was cost-effective, could be mobilized quickly and, above all, did not look like a temporary fix.

How Sprung Delivered

Sprung and Kitchens to Go (KTG) teamed up to supply an 80’ x 110’ structure, complete with a wide array of modular kitchen amenities. Featuring glazing walls and translucent daylight panels, the structure’s refined finishes and exterior appearance were an aesthetic fit with the other buildings on campus.
