The Ask

Hurricane Michael caused catastrophic damage when it made landfall in Bay County as a category 5 storm in October 2018. Several fire stations were destroyed and needed to be replaced in order to reduce local emergency response times.

How Sprung Delivered

Sprung delivered two fully insulated structures to replace the damaged stations at Southport and Hiland Park. Bay County used FEMA funds to purchase the two Sprung structures, and the project came in at one-third the cost of a conventionally built facility. In addition, the structures were built to Miami-Dade County code compliance for hurricanes and were complete within six months of Sprung being awarded the contract.

Let’s Talk

A New Chapter Begins

After 138 years serving Southern Alberta, Western Tent would like to announce that our operations are being absorbed by our larger conglomerate, Sprung Structures. As we move forward, many of the products we’ve offered over the years—including residential and commercial awnings, canopies, tents and custom shelters—will no longer be available.

Thank you to all of our loyal and valued customers. Your trust and support over the years have meant the world to us. We invite you to visit www.sprung.com to see what the company’s future holds under the Sprung name.

With gratitude,
The Western Tent Team
