The Ask
In 2019, Tyrol Basin added snow tubing facilities to the hill in an effort to expand and improve its winter offerings. In addition to snow tubing, the resort wanted to bring in a structure that could serve as a bar and concession area.
How Sprung Delivered
Delivered in September, the new concession building was completed by November of the same year. The 4,050-square-foot Sprung structure features a bar, concession stand, lounge, lockers, bathrooms, a vestibule with storage for coats, and an office and ticket sales area. Large viewing windows span the width of the structure and overlook the many laned, 700-foot-long tubing run, which comes complete with a conveyor system to move tubers back up the hill.
