The Ask
Having outgrown several office and manufacturing facilities in Calgary, Sprung wanted to consolidate into one facility and create a place that would showcase the innovation and appeal of its structures.
How Sprung Delivered
Sprung built a 150,000-square-foot, fully insulated structure equipped with state-of-the-art research, manufacturing and office space. Completed in 2007 and located on 100 acres just south of Calgary, the facility features R30 fiberglass insulation, a 30-foot high glazing wall that provides breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains, and a Dupont Tedlar architectural membrane with special translucent panels in the peak, which provide ample natural light. The Sprung campus also hosts a cafeteria, a gymnasium, a basketball court and even an on-site greenhouse.
