THE ASK
In late 2020, the East Troublesome Fire devastated C Lazy U Ranch, destroying its iconic 99-year-old barn along with its Evergreen cabin, hay storage facilities, 700 tons of hay, two employee homes, eight member homes, and large areas of surrounding forest and sagebrush. With the heart of its equestrian operations lost, the ranch urgently needed a temporary building solution to house saddles and tack. This interim structure was essential to maintaining world-class horseback riding programs and ensuring the ranch could continue welcoming guests for the upcoming tourism season while plans for a new barn moved forward.
HOW SPRUNG DELIVERED
Just one month after initial conversations with the C Lazy U Ranch team, Sprung delivered a 40’ x 60’ structure that was built and operational in time for the ranch’s busy spring season. Featuring a custom exterior wrap to reflect the historic barn that burned down, the fully insulated structure also includes daylight panels to optimize natural light, as well as large sliding doors for easy access into and out of the building.
