Marathon Oil needed an immediate on-site warehousing solution to store temperature sensitive parts at two of their North Dakota locations, Dunn Center and New Town.
Sprung structures was called upon to supply two 60’ wide x 105’ long fully insulated structures complete with desert tan membrane, a 12’ wide x 16’ high rolling service door and an attached 10’ wide x 12.5’ long office for the warehouse manager.
Speed of delivery and construction were important factors in selecting Sprung for these projects. Sprung received the order from Marathon Oil late on Wednesday March 26, 2014 and 7 days later the structures arrived on-site ready to be erected.
Marathon Oil was so impressed with their first two structures they ordered the first 80’ wide x 165’ long structure for their New Town location in September of 2014 and then the 80’ wide x 165’ long structure for their Dunn Center location was ordered in October of 2014. Construction for New Town was completed by November while Dunn Center’s completion followed in December of 2014.
